This role leads an enterprise control testing capability to support enterprise risk management and operational risk management frameworks. Develops and designs an efficient and effective process and resources for control testing across all business units with a need. Oversees metrics, data, and reporting to support visibility into testing processes and results. Builds influential relationships with senior management and supports management. Provides expert consultation on control testing processes and requirements. Develops collaborative partnerships with internal departments, external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance cross-functional risk management capabilities.

• Risk Management - Leads the planning and execution of controls testing processes, including stakeholder communications., Upholds the requirements associated with control testing. Partners with key business stakeholders to ensure compliance with program requirements. Maintains productive relationships with senior management to direct appropriate communication from leadership to associate teams.
• Business Support - Provides testing expertise and support for businesses. Serves as an advisor on testing best practices, processes, and regulatory requirements. Develops active relationships within professional networks to stay current on emerging issues and regulatory requirements.
• Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
• Reporting – Develops the reporting requirements to support providing timely process and control testing data to management.
• Auditing - Assists audits of Bank operations through partnership with both internal and external auditors. Works closely with regulatory agencies and assists regulatory exams. Ensures that all auditing or exam preparatory needs are met.

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in controls testing within large financial institution enterprise and operational risk frameworks.

Skill(s): Knowledge of operational and enterprise risk management including identification, assessment, testing and escalation of risk issues, Ability to track and coordinate large, complex processes, Knowledge of regulatory guidance pertaining to enterprise and operational risk as well as risk control frameworks, PC Skills including Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Archer

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $150,000 to $225,000 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.
