The Credit Administration Business Risk and Controls Manager is responsible for overseeing risk management activities assigned to their ownership for compliance, operational and regulatory risks within the Credit Administration Organization. In this role, you will help oversee the design, implementation and delivery of the testing and monitoring strategies for key risks. You will also assess issues, design remediation plans, direct the work of other team members for your projects, and provide risk advisory services across the organization, when needed. This role will be expected to lead interactions with key stakeholders within Credit Administration and various internal lines of defense (e.g., Business units, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit/ SOX, etc.) as well as external auditors. In addition, this role will be expected to provide guidance over a team of junior analysts in both, testing focused and advisory roles, contributing to successful risk management activities across Credit Administration.
Responsibilities:Planning:
• Assist in developing Credit Administration’s strategy over our self-testing program, including risk assessment, plan, scope, approach, program standards, testing procedures and execution, while ensuring they are aligned with Bank wide goals. • Set and manage project goals, objectives and plans for resources to accomplish tasks within established timelines and in alignment with established goals.
Risk Program Management :• Responsible for the oversight and management of assigned Credit Administration Risk programs, such as the testing program, with the support of and ability to direct a team of analysts . • Review the work of analysts and other deliverables related to the controls testing function. • Conduct walkthroughs with process / control owners to obtain understanding of their process and controls for testing purposes or prepare them for effective presentation with internal and external auditors• Assess control issues and partner with business owners to help articulate the root cause, analyze the actual and potential impact, develop correction plans, monitor for timely resolution, and conclude on final assessment. • Manage the tracking, monitoring, presentation materials and reporting of testing activities and results.
Risk Advisory Services:• Perform risks assessments, evaluate mitigation strategies, and help manage new projects or initiatives with emerging risks for Credit Administration, through the development of a Risk, Action, Issues, and Decision/Dependency (RAID) log, where needed.• Collaborate with control owners to design or enhance controls that strike the right balances between efficiency, risk mitigation, control design, and control documentation within enterprise frameworks.• Propose changes to processes and controls to address the Bank’s dynamic growth, where new or complex risks are introduced and need to be mitigated.• Build healthy cross-functional relationships among various departments to achieve alignment in timelines, deliverables, and anticipated results.

Qualifications:Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree 6+ years of Expereince OR High School or GED 8-10+ years
Experience Requirements:
Required Area of Experience: SOX, Auditing, and Risk Management; Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk and Project Management or Consulting
Preferred Requirements:
