Overview:
This position drives the development of cost-effective applications that address business needs while aligning with the Bank's long-term technology goals. Determines the needs of assigned business areas through partnership and strategic collaboration. Translates needs into functional projects and technological solutions. Oversees projects to produce effective results and to maximize the return on investment. Directs an annual budget, including forecasting, and develops a strong associate team. Ensures that short-term results lead to the achievement of long-term strategic objectives through personal leadership, direction, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy - Drives project strategy to align with wider organizational goals and initiatives. Develops business cases that illustrate the cost vs. benefits of proposed initiatives. Represents the interests of business partners and IT as a principal liaison and consultant.
- Business Support - Works closely with business partners and the Information Technology department to determine, address, and implement solutions for business needs. Ensures the reliability of deployed solutions by managing applications support and maintenance.
- Project Management - Leads the implementation of projects and enhancements for new and existing applications, including the technical delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives. Develops methods of measuring and monitoring performance, and conveys project results to the appropriate parties.
- Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes team achievements by providing professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Information Technology including application development, support roles, and management. OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Information Technology including application development, support roles, and management.
Preferred Area of Experience: Financial services with Integration of third party solutions in on premise and cloud environment.
License or Certification Type: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Agile Project Manager IAPM, PMI-ACP Preferred
