Overview:
This position provides daily technical support to data processing systems. Analyzes existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures that improve processing capabilities. Assists the installation of programs and procedures developed in coordination with end user groups. Enhances data processing systems and procedures through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Development – Develop programs in .Net, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, Python, scripting language (or Java)
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
- System Testing - Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluates and conveys testing results.
- Processing Support - Provides technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve processing capabilities. Works closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives.
- Technical Proficiency - Utilizes knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software.
- Provides 24/7 on-call support rotation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Programming
Preferred Area of Study: Computer Science
Preferred Area of Experience: Microsoft .NET (C#); ASP.NET Core; SQL Scripting; Powershell Scripting
Skill(s): Familiar with programming languages such as JavaScript, Microsoft .NET (C#); ASP.NET Core, HTML 5, XML; SQL Scripting and Powershell Scripting., Familiar with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system, Familiar with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems, Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (Waterfall or Agile), Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis
