Overview:
CIT Business Capital is now First Citizens Equipment Finance. We are a full-service, vendor-centric lending/leasing business unit. FCB EF provides a wide array of lending and leasing products/solutions to customers ranging in size from small/medium businesses to enterprise entities through its affiliation/alignment with OEM equipment vendors, their distributors, resellers, and dealers.
This position supports the vision and strategies of the Equipment Finance and Syndication market as a central point of contact through cross functional initiatives. The goal is to provide fast and effective execution, while letting sales focus on sales activities. Leads efforts to deliver tools, resources, and industry expertise that support and enhance the sales process. Responsible for enhancing content tied to career development for sales teams. Sales training schedule alignment and management. Advocates for ongoing development of sales onboarding and training enhancements to drive best in class onboarding, training, and development.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Support – Supports a sales coaching environment that develops associate skills and knowledge base. Delivers sales and marketing information, materials, and tools that enhance sales referrals from bankers and foster profitable relationships. Ensures all sales activities comply with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and internal policies. Partners with sales management on all reward and recognition events.
- Sales Strategy – Implements tactical plans for Equipment Finance target markets, and partners to achieve sales goals. Leads sales projects across the market, aligning initiatives with wider organizational goals. Defines sales management processes that ensure the consistent execution of sales and service activities. Leverages opportunities for improvement and revenue growth.
- Strategic Partnership – Builds and fosters productive relationships with field sales leaders and their teams. Cultivates an open line of communication with constituency in a way that builds credibility and trust. Captures banker and sales leader feedback and translate into recommended improvements and enhancements. Works cross-functionally within vendor sales groups, as well as with business partners, to develop competitive strategies. Collaborates on the establishment of consistent policies, practices, and standards that drive sales and service performance.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in Sales Administration/Development or High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Sales Administration/Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRMs
- Sales Administration, Marketing, or Data Analyst experience.
- Advanced Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
