Qualifications:
- Ph.D. (or a Master's degree with at least four years of relevant experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in machine learning and clustering at scale.
- Proficient in various clustering algorithms: supervised, unsupervised, and guided interactive.
- Strong expertise in Spark; proficiency in Scala or Python within large-data environments is also highly regarded.
- Solid experience in big data engineering on platforms like Hadoop, HDFS, or AWS in production settings.
- Familiarity with Docker for deploying data applications via containers.
- A collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside team members with diverse skill sets, including data engineering, full-stack systems, data science, data visualization, UI, and UX.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time compute systems for data querying and algorithms, such as Elastic Search and GPU clusters.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques (both supervised and unsupervised) and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (API usage, fine-tuning, or application development).
- Experience with SQL or traditional databases, as well as back-end development within full-stack environments.
- Proficient in using TensorFlow, PyTorch, CUDA, or similar systems for GPU-accelerated processing.
- Understanding of interactive and visual techniques for conveying machine learning results effectively.
- Background in aspects of full-stack development.
