Job Description
Important: This is an outside field sales role, which means you will be required to travel 70% of the time. The preference is for this individual to live in/near/around Atlanta, GA or Boston, MA.
Summary:To grow and maintain sales of direct marketing programs. Plan, direct, and manage the sales activities and marketing of the products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet revenue targets by managing their regions.
- Building relationships with Agency 720 and Martin Retail
- Complete sales call each month.
- Provide industry knowledge and expertise.
- Monitor service levels to assure the customer base receive accurate and timely response and service.
- Provide direction and decision making as required to ensure quality customer service.
- Represent company at trade association meetings and throughout the direct marketing industry.
- Advise management of sales, expenses, competitive situations,
- Communicate with all levels of management.
- Meet informally with Management to reports quarterly to discuss progress.
- Manage expenses through cost process and weekly review.
- Hold routine group and individual meetings to advise of new products, pricing, goals, and progress.
- Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the company.
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail.
- Communicate with advertising consultants on an ongoing basis.
- Work with writers and artists to oversee copywriting, design, layout, pasteup, and production of promotional materials.
- Ensure effective control of marketing results and that corrective action takes place to achieve marketing objectives.
