Job Description
How You'll Make an Impact:Epsilon is looking for a Vice President (VP) of Technology Implementations to lead a global technology team. This role provides significant opportunity to work with worlds best brands, best minds and help our clients accomplishing their digital marketing goals. The ideal candidate should have significant depth in the designing, building, and managing real-time multi-channel digital solutions, specifically in the domain of CRM, loyalty and rewards solutions. The VP will be responsible for managing approximately 400+ global staff and will be accountable for career development, talent evaluation, technical leadership & best practices. The ideal candidate will have either a management consulting background delivering large-scale technical solutions and/or outsourced application development/operations management background of global scale.
- Work together win together: The Vice President, Technology Implementations (VP) will report to the Senior Vice President, Platform Services. The VP will lead a team of 6-8 individuals and will oversee a global team of about 400. This is a hybrid role (2x/week) based in our Wakefield, MA office.
- Innovate with purpose: As we continue our journey to Product, the VP will have the opportunity to help migrate dozens of custom CRM/ Loyalty platforms from on-premise or custom platforms to SaaS models.
What You'll Achieve:

- Provide day-to-day leadership over multiple account engagement teams comprised of both new application design/build and maintenance resources, driving the growth and stability of strategic platforms.
- Provide thought-leadership to staff and clients related to technical architecture, solution capabilities, applied SDLC and application/database maintenance operations
- Accountability for overall resource planning and management as well as financial performance of all engagements, and optimization of staff and delivery scope against financial targets
- Serve as first-line of escalation from the project delivery teams for major technical and operational challenges
- Manage and grow offshore development teams and drive the overall growth objectives with a strategic plan and direction.
- Stay abreast of latest marketing technology trends and all of Epsilon's product offerings to integrate into annual account planning efforts, business development efforts and overall client marketing technology roadmaps
- Manage career growth and development of staff through coaching and mentoring. Set goals and monitor performance against those goals throughout the year.
- Communicate effectively with direct supervisor and upper management on engagement activities and overall health of the engagement. Synthesize relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, staff and client and risks. Escalate critical issues appropriately.
- Responsible for overseeing and implementing continual process improvement initiatives
- May require up to 30% travel required by client and business development needs
Who You Are:
- What you'll bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of direct experience managing complex IT projects, preferably in the marketing technology space
- Experience managing large global teams
- Proven track record in architecting, designing and participating in the delivery of complex marketing technology projects involving both database and interactive technologies. Individuals should have a strong grasp of database architecture, data modeling, and system integration, as well as a solid grasp of infrastructure, particularly cloud deployments. Be an expert in the full development lifecycle (SDLC)
