Job DescriptionThe Epsilon Client Lead for Telecom Client plays a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth within the account. The key responsibility is to work directly client stakeholders to expand the utilization of Epsilon solutions and drive client business outcomes. This role will collaborate with various teams, including with Publicis Groupe GCL Leadership Team, Groupe agency leads and Epsilon solution consultants, Epsilon Digital, Analytics, Digital Experience, customer success, pricing, product, client engagement, and solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), Subject Mater Expert (SME) and Executive Growth lead for all Epsilon products and services (Platform, Digital, Data and Services). Interact with Publicis Groupe teams: Work with client leads for other Publicis agencies to collectively support Groupe level new business pitches, joint client reviews, and provide thought leadership to the Power of One team on integrated identity (CoreID), insights, activation, closed-loop measurement, Digital, Data and People-based marketing as scale, and ultimately business outcomes)
- Develop a deep understanding of Epsilon products and services and function as a consultant to the Groupe and client leadership, to understand how to leverage Epsilon to drive material impact to the Telecom Client business.
- Build customer relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within Telecom Client account, across the various Telecom Client business units (VCG/VBG, VVO/VCG, etc.) (Data/Tech/Tools). Understand their unique business challenges, requirements, budgets, of these business units and tailor sales approaches to meet their specific needs. Be a trusted strategic partner to key stakeholders to help the client understand the power of that integrates Epsilon services (Tech, Digital and Data) with Groupe offers to create a long-term dependency on the Groupe, Epsilon and the outcomes generated through these services.
- Drive Epsilon strategic account planning, business planning, quarterly client business reviews (QBRs) annual budgets/LOAs and investments.
- Drive profitable account revenue growth for Epsilon: Educate key stakeholders on Epsilon capabilities; identify / develop / shape / close opportunities to grow Epsilon's footprint and generate in-year and long-term revenue growth. Lead sales process to exceed Epsilon quotas for Epsilon services and defined margins targets. Bring expertise and thought leadership to solve their critical business issues that leverage the full stack of Epsilon products and services in support of Telecom Client's marketing transformation objectives, with a clear focused on delivering business outcomes.
- Work collaboratively: Work closely with Epsilon sales, marketing, product, finance, and delivery teams to align strategies and coordinate efforts effectively.
- Negotiate contracts: Work with legal, pricing, delivery, and product to create and negotiate all contracts for assigned accounts.
- Forecast pipeline and revenue: Utilize opportunity management solution to provide up-to-date information about opportunities for assigned accounts, participate in pipeline reviews; utilize revenue forecasting solution to provide revenue forecasts for assigned accounts, participate in revenue forecast reviews.
- Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Understand the industry for TME Vertical and Telecom Client, stay up to date on industry developments, changes in regulations, and new emerging opportunities. Understand how Epsilon solutions support the industry.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 15+ years of leadership experience driving revenue teams.
- Prior experience in the Media/Advertising market sector
- Proven experience in leading client relationships to drive growth in the Telecom, Media and Entertainment sector (with Deep Telecom Experience)
- Deep Digital experience helping clients find and convert new high-value audiences, retain existing customers, penetrate, and expand new businesses. Understands how to leverage Digital to drive performance and solve for unique business problems for Telecom Client (example, sell more Samsung phones, conquest new subscribers, drive upsell new FWA add-ons, promote online recharges for prepaid (VVO).
- Telecom Client Experience - Deep understanding of Telecom Client's corporate structure and business units. Must speak the language of the organization (churn, upgrades, gross ads, pre-post paid subscribers, discos) and possess a deep understanding the fundamentals of the carrier business units and challenges (wireless, fixed wireless access, broadband)
- Analytics and Measurement - experience guiding prevailing advertising measurement process (MMM, MTA, ROAS, IROAS, Viewability) and translate existing client performance measurement processes to reflect client specific business outcomes. Experience leading professional services engagements supporting ad performance and measurement models.
- Strong AdTech and MarTech background, with an understanding of the Carrier ecosystem, experience helping define use cases that leverage 1PD, working understanding the carrier business metrics and data sets required to drive outcomes through platforms and digital engagement.
- Strong data, audience strategy and investment experience to help team identify and leverage use cases that leverage 1pd to drive retention, acquisition, personalization, next best action, and journey optimization. Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales analytics software.
- Advertising Holding Company leadership experience and working knowledge of Epsilon and Groupe services.
- Advanced understanding of advanced technologies and processes that will impact the Telecom Client marketing effort to their subscribers in the future (AI/ML, Retail Media, DCO, Creative, Production)
- Experience helping clients build a perpetual learning process that guide innovation of the clients marketing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of data-driven marketing and application of marketing strategies, tactics, and technology to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and drive effective strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to articulate complex concepts and ideas clearly.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets and business objectives.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Existing relationship with Telecom Client leadership preferred
- Strong understanding of Multi-cultural marketing strategies preferred
- Epsilon experience preferred
