Job DescriptionThe Director of FP&A at Epsilon is a strategic finance position responsible for partnering with the CTO and senior leadership across the business, in support of enterprise-wide product and technology investment. This role will focus on providing key analysis, modeling, and financial guidance regarding the company's investment in software development & infrastructure hosting. This includes forecasting, monthly expense reporting, ROI analysis, monitoring of investment to revenue ratios, capitalization guidance, and other ad-hoc support. The individual in this role will also work closely with the SVP of FP&A, as well as the Finance Directors supporting the other Practices.Relationships:
- Reports to: Sr. Director, FP&A
- Directly supervises: No direct reports.
- Works closely with: Chief Technology Officer, Product Engineering SVP's, Pricing Team, Agency Practice leadership, FP&A Directors, Accounting
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders across the business and CTO organization to provide insightful analysis and influence around infrastructure hosting and software development costs.
- Manage product and client cost allocation process for software development and hosting costs.
- Provide long range planning support and guidance around evolving infrastructure hosting landscape. This includes migration planning and understanding of both cloud and on-premise hosting costs.
- Work with pricing & product FP&A teams around modeling of technology costs & impact to product profitability. Maintains working knowledge of market and pricing pressures impacting our products.
- Assist practice finance leads and client teams in understanding cost allocations and cost drivers as they relate to product hosting and development.
- Perform financial analysis to support major initiatives and investment decisions.
- Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed,
Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting Cloud & Infrastructure Operations within a SaaS environment required - will not consider applicants without this background
- Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
- 8-12 years related experience preferred; 5+ years FP&A experience in a corporate setting.
- Experience in organizations with offshore operations a plus
- Financial systems experience: advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
