Job DescriptionAbout this role:The
Director, Marketing Automation and Operations position is responsible for building and managing a scalable marketing automation platform, integrating, and managing new Marketing Systems technology, and designing and delivering technical solutions to meet Epsilons' evolving business needs.This role sits at the Global intersection of Marketing, Sales Operations. Working closely with a cross-functional team of performance marketers, sellers, and sales/marketing operations teams, you'll be responsible for seamlessly connecting technology and optimizing data workflows. To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset.The ideal candidate has strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams. This person is a natural problem solver with refined technical architecture skills and will regularly communicate project progress to key internal stakeholders.
Director, Marketing Automation and Operations duties and responsibilities:
- Explore creative ways to leverage Epsilon's marketing technology to support lead generation efforts and achieve optimized performance.
- Manage the integration points between Epsilon MarTech stack and trouble shoot issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Leadership to ensure cross-team strategical alignment when using Marketing Systems Technology.
- Help evaluate and integrate existing and future Epsilon Martech vendors/partners.
- Maintain Marketing's MarTech documentation for training and onboarding purposes.
- Work with multi-functional teams internally & externally to optimally deliver projects end-to-end.
- Manage and improve lead routing and lead scoring workflows to align with Epsilon business needs.
- Database management and quarterly maintenance in CRM and MAP to improve data integrity.
- Additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10+ years professional work experience in Marketing Operations roles. Demand Generation a plus.
- Advanced Salesforce proficiency
- 5+ years of external system integration experience
- Experience with system administration & set up
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Ability to think systematically with solid business sense and technical aptitude.
- Experience designing and building automated data hygiene solutions, lead routing from multiple sources, and lead scoring models.
- Experience leading a marketing-wide strategic initiative, with stakeholder collaboration, governance, change management, education, and training.
