Job Summary: Cox Media is seeking an
Ad Platforms Manager to join our
Digital Ad Operations Center of Excellence. This position manages our vendor relationships, digital order management systems support, and execution monitor of our offshore team responsible for the trafficking and billing of digital campaigns in our digital OMS and vendor platforms. They will be responsible for ensuring digital campaigns are fulfilled on time and deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations across our suite of products.This individual must possess a strong ability to build relationships across teams and provide excellent customer service standards. They will work in a matrix organization leading remote and geographically diverse teams. The Ad Platforms Managers will work to create efficiencies and streamline workflows around the digital campaign onboarding process. They will also determine prioritization of clients and guide their team through the execution of requests to meet internal and external expectations.They will be responsible for coordination with their peers within the Digital Ad Operations Center of Excellence to ensure positive performance outcomes and internal and external stakeholder satisfaction. This coordination will include mitigation and prevention of escalated issues, the resolution of stakeholder concerns, monitoring of productivity and the execution of strategies to optimize processes, retain talent and maintain a high performing team. They will manage a fulfillment team to drive superior campaign execution and results for customers and will manage their performance against associated SLAs and KPIs.
Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
Digital Media Expertise :
- Detailed knowledge of both internal and outsourced digital fulfillment requirements and workflow.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge of all digital ad products and fulfillment processes to effectively launch and maintain campaigns that achieve advertiser goals and KPIs.
- Act as subject matter expert of Cox Media's digital media portfolio and the contract terms and guidelines of vendor partnerships.
- Staying informed of industry trends and best practices, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and sharing knowledge to team members.
Platform & Tools Management:
- Responsible for owning vendor relationships on digital execution tools; includes contract management, overall partnership, monthly reviews, licensing etc.
- Includes intaking business concerns and feedback, developing requirements and working with partners to add to development timelines.
- Will lead the implementation of enhancements including driving the team forward on integrations, testing, training, launch and communications.
Functional Leadership:
- Manages an interdisciplinary team of offshore resources responsible for digital campaigns, includes assessing team member performance, collaborating with offshore team leads and providing resources for the onboarding of offshore resources.
- Oversees the execution and management of digital campaigns utilizing diversified product portfolio in support of Cox Media's 10 field offices.
- Advises and coaches team members on procedures, technical problems, priorities, and standard methodology.
- Develops workflow solutions for team to become efficient and create best practices enabling the team to scale and manage additional order volumes.
- Approves and/or escalates any orders that are exceptions to the standardized product catalog and SLAs.
- Monitors fulfillment status to ensure campaigns deliver desired results and makes recommendations to optimize delivery if needed.
- Holds weekly accountability calls with execution teams, monthly reporting check-ins, and quarterly business reviews. Shares information with key stakeholders to improve processes.
Quality Assurance:
- Review reporting and dashboards for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal SLAs for timely execution of reporting activities.
- Identify reoccurring issues and suggest improvements to processes and tools.
- Holds fulfillment providers accountable for SLA delivery and escalates issues as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other internal departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for accurate execution of digital fulfillment processes and campaign support.
- Liaison between the markets and fulfillment providers for all digital fulfillment inquiries and issues.
- Liaison to preferred vendor for technical troubleshooting on DSP platforms. Responsible for escalating issues and managing through resolution.
- Provides consistent feedback to fulfillment providers and campaign managers to facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of service and campaign results.
- Works with Shared Sales Services and Product Management Team to educate them on fulfillment best practices to ensure markets are properly trained.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience in a management role
- 5+ years of experience working in a digital advertising operations or fulfillment role.
- 5+ years of experience in customer service working directly with sales and marketers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem
- Proven skills in digital campaign management including processing, trafficking and monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical problem solving, listening, written, and verbal communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
- Keen problem-solving skills - ability to proactively identify potential issues, troubleshoot and quickly resolve them.
- Self-starter, resourceful and excels at "getting things done".
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with ability to build strong working relationships and consistently met or exceeded customer expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
- Analytical and possess the ability to evaluate data and interpret results.
- Willing to travel as necessary for training, digital media events, etc.
- BA/BS degree in related discipline Marketing, Business Administration
- 2 or more years of experience preferred in Digital Marketing
- 2 or more years of experience as a media buyer or planner, performing advertising agency work, working in a marketing or public relations role, or some combination of these
- Prior experience specifically with DV360, Amazon DSP, Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, DSPs or similar advertising systems and technologies
USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year
Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
