Summary Drives business productivity, efficiency and operations through innovation and implementation of automation solutions within the Finance & Accounting organization. Analyzes and evaluates business processes, identifies automation opportunities, and works with cross-functional teams to implement solutions utilizing robotic process automation and desktop automation technologies. Support ongoing reviews of business processes, directly perform development of new automation solutions, and provide support and maintenance for implemented automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Analysis - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, priorities, and challenges. Gather requirements and analyze to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvement.
- Design - Architect and propose automated solutions. Evaluate business case considering feasibility, benefits, and costs. Support prioritization.
- Implementation - Directly develop solutions utilizing automation software platforms. Conduct thorough testing to determine effectiveness and alignment with business requirements. Gather stakeholder acceptance and lead transition into new process. Develop and provide training as needed.
- Support - Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Provide ongoing support and maintenance to improve efficiency and to correct defects.
- Communication - Deliver effective communication to stakeholders throughout project lifecycle to ensure alignment between business goals and automation initiatives. Provide regular status updates to leaders.
- Continuous Improvement - Stay updated on automation trends, best practices, and new technology offerings. Seek out education opportunities and synthesize knowledge by leveraging in solution design and development. Share and collaborate with team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor' degree in related discipline (Business, IT, Computer Science, etc.) and 2+ years of related experience, MS degree + up to 2 years' experience, or 6+ years' experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong foundational background in RPA automation concepts and best practices.
- 2 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with automation software platforms. The team primarily uses Microsoft Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop. Translatable experience with software such as BluePrism, UiPath, etc. considered.
- Any experience with technologies supportive to automation such as SQL data extraction, Python, Powershell, Javascript, web services, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot automations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project management and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
