We are looking for a
lead software engineer for customer facing AI based platform built using industry leading NLP and AI platform. This candidate will lead a stellar team of strong, self-motivated developers and engineers developing high-volume customer facing platform using proven frameworks and technologies. Candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing a robust software development strategy, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, and driving innovation using the latest Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. The platform you'll be working on is built on cloud services such as AWS and GCP, reflecting a commitment to cutting-edge infrastructure and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing development team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Ensure the team's alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop a visionary and strategic approach to software development, anticipating future needs and trends in technology.
- Present technical solutions and progress updates to leadership teams, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills.
Software Development Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy in line with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement software solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Demonstrate an architectural mindset to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.
Contribution to Software Development Lifecycle:
- Play a hands-on role in the software development lifecycle, contributing to coding, testing, and debugging.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Conversational AI using Java, JavaScript, Python and Node.js
- Collaborate with architects to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices.
- Leverage your expertise in AI concepts, particularly NLP, NLU, and Generative AI, to contribute to the development of AI-driven features and capabilities within our products.
- Utilize your extensive experience to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability of software applications.
Innovation and Technology Adoption:
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in software development and AI.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and Generative AI technologies
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the platform and improve customer experience.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation within the team.
Cloud Platform Expertise:
- Utilize expertise in AWS and GCP to optimize the platform's performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
- Experience with AWS and GCP implementation.
- Experience implementing Enterprise Chatbot and NLP solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js & Python with a strong track record of delivering high-quality code.
- Strong architectural mindset with a proven ability to design and implement scalable and robust software systems.
- In-depth knowledge of AI concepts, specifically NLP, NLU, and Generative AI.
- Experience in developing vision and strategy for software solutions that align with business goals.
- Proven experience delivering technical presentations to leadership teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Experience implementing chatbot & NLP solutions using AWS/GCP or any industry AI leading platforms
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
