At CCI we are looking to hire a
Lead Product Management Engineer who will provide continuous and visible leadership for current self-install performance and future development and deployment plans; Accountable for and serves as an authority on all aspects of product portfolio's lifecycle including: launch, customer experience, financial and operating metrics, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps; Models passion and drive for change and/or enhancements to satisfy customer needs and optimize customer experience through product innovation and/or improvements to internal organization, processes and technology; Recommends resources to address/balance customer needs; Operates with considerable latitude for independent judgment; Negotiates issues with peers and 1st level Mgmt. to synthesize ideas and solutions that impact operational results.; May be responsible for product program(s) that involve single to multi-year plans; Develops, or provides guidance to develop, innovative solutions to highly complex matters; Provides influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and other stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact industry and/or corporate results; Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and associates. The role combines knowledge of product management, customer installation experience and supports achieving business objectives.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
- Responsible to deliver activities and tasks necessary for successful product enablement and launch for CB and Res Self-Install. Contributes to planning, budgeting, resourcing and monitoring results.
- Provides continuous support and subject matter expertise for CB Self Install customer experience roadmap, performance, and future development plans.
- Responsible for sub-elements or features of a product portfolio's lifecycle which may include launch, usability testing, operational metric reporting, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps.
- Champion self-install various forums to ensure visibility and engagement.
- Has a strong understanding of Cox business and Residential objectives, products, and processes.
- Passionate and driven to effect change and/or enhancements to satisfy customer needs and optimize the customer experience through product innovation and/or improvements to internal organization, processes and technology.
- Identify/research resources necessary to address/balance customer needs.
- Partners with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact operational results.
- Guide and support cross-functional teams to move ideas through a project funnel from ideation through deployment as the champion and owner of the initiative.
- Developing as leader with respect to project development, team interactions, business insights and product management.
- Identify customer expectations and unmet needs with product and services to innovate and create solutions that address gaps and enhance customer experience. Directs product features from ideation through deployment.
- Develop a documented product vision which aligns with and/or enhances customer needs, market and competitive trends and corporate strategy.
- Translate vision into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Research and evaluate product performance to prioritize product improvements that optimize customer experience and strengthen financials.
- Facilitates communication amongst project leaders, peers and relevant department and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current product state and vision.
- Create, sustain and optimize operational practices and procedures to drive efficiencies.
