Lead Product Owner is the Product Management evangelist for Advanced Scheduling & Resource Planning at Cox Automotive. They aim to deliver innovative solutions based on their understanding of high-level business priorities and company objectives. The Product Owner works with Product Leadership and Business Stakeholders to establish the product vision and then brings it to life for the enterprise.
Lead Product Owners work with a cross-functional scrum team to build, enhance, and manage a set of products and platforms using Scaled Agile Framework methodology. They will own and groom the product backlog with input from stakeholders, partners, and the business. Teams will include platform/software engineers, developers, QA (Quality Assurance), and scrum masters.As products and solutions near launch, they will support mobilization and business readiness as the business develops go-to-market plans. They may help in demos and support training material creation as a subject matter expert.This role serves as an expert on UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Pro WFM) and procedures relating to executing WFM workloads, such as forecasting models, client implementation (communication, schedule changes, optimization, hours increases/reductions), agent efficiency, and process improvement initiatives. Proficient in using UKF PRO WFM for forecasting, scheduling, and reporting.The person must be a self-starter who can proactively reach out to the business and their peers in the space to identify new opportunities and ways in which we can do things differently.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Provides thought leadership to develop new or improved processes, methodologies, systems, tools, and/or services based on practical experience, optimal outcomes, and best practices to enhance the operating environment of front-line team members.
- Provides advanced-level knowledge of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (Formerly known as Dimensions) Advanced Scheduler Module.
- Product ownership of the applicable program increment processes and technology delivery commitments.
- Developing and supporting a continuous improvement process within WFM
- Facilitates complex working sessions, including defining strategic objectives and tailoring them to meet business needs as necessary.
- Improve the team member experience, resulting in a reduction in EE attrition.
- Deliver transformational change in all aspects of back-office workforce management.
- Analyzes complex data or facts and summarizes and presents findings in a compelling way
- Thought leader to our stakeholders and partners to create product roadmaps that increase enterprise value and efficiency over time
- Represent Cox Automotive business stakeholders in status meetings and solution work sessions between stakeholder groups to enable the delivery of advanced scheduling solutions that meet the business needs.
- Translate business requests into features and user stories in a collaborative cross-functional team to craft solutions/documentation and represent customer needs in product delivery.
- Prioritize product backlog with input from stakeholders, peers, and leadership to ensure alignment with product strategy and roadmap.
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in application features, capabilities, and business rules.
- Participate in the applicable product delivery ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and release train planning meetings.
- Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand and influence product strategy while generating innovative ideas for achieving product success
- Partners with Release Train Core Team to develop release plans that support go-to-market strategies
- Communicate progress toward milestones as software is released.
- Make rapid tactical decisions to maintain team momentum and focus on incremental value delivery.
- Ensures regulatory compliance and Shift Governance/Schedule adherence
- Partners to evaluate projects utilizing WFM to boost productivity
- Scheduling experience in multiple skill and multichannel environments
- Must be able to travel within the US up to 30% of the time.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years of experience.

- Proven self-starter who can proactively engage with the business, stakeholders and peer base
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders (e.g., operations management, HR, and IT teams)

- Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives
- Develop, maintain, and leverage Finance relationships
- Oversees the daily workflow of multiple locations.
- Must possess a natural curiosity to expand their knowledge, identify new opportunities, and know where to adapt our approach.
- Working understanding of UKG Workforce Management Pro (formerly known as UKG Dimensions).
- Experience managing or deploying UKG Workforce Management Pro or similar advanced scheduling tools (Nice or Aspect).
- Working experience in complete product lifecycle methodologies
- Working experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- High-level experience working with engineering teams to deliver product capabilities
- Strong communication skills & presentation skills, verbal and written, with the ability to communicate across business and technology
- Self-directed problem solver with a demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Flex Scheduling and shift governance in multiple-skill and multi-channel environments.
USD 106,700.00 - 177,900.00 per year
Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
