The
Endpoint Support Technician I is responsible for provisioning and maintaining end-user computing devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners, and office equipment). This role also includes support for video conferencing technology. The Technician installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues for both onsite and remote employees. Escalation of complex problems to appropriate teams is required, ensuring clear communication and technical guidance throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Device Provisioning & Installation : Install, configure, and manage end-user devices (desktops, laptops, mobile phones, etc.), provide user training, and maintain detailed asset records.
- Maintenance & Support : Conduct routine maintenance and deliver 1st/2nd level support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, both onsite and remotely.
- Incident Management : Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; perform root cause analysis; and document solutions in a knowledge base.
- Customer Service & Communication : Provide exceptional customer support, ensuring users are kept informed of the status of their requests and that all services meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Operational Support : Follow standard operating procedures, contribute to daily operational tasks, and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Experience with ticketing systems, ITIL practices, change management, and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, MCDST, or ACSP
- 3-5 years of experience in end-user technical support
- Associate's degree in a related field
USD 17.40 - 26.06 per hour
Compensation:Hourly base pay rate is $17.40 - $26.06/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
