Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.
Practice Overview
Large office with 11 providers, and each provider works with their own MA. We also have two Nurse Care Managers, a Pharmacist, and a Social Worker. One of our MAs is a Care Team Lead, and another is a Senior MA. We have an RN and two LPN’s who make up our “triage team” (taking higher-level calls, performing nurse visits, etc.). We also have two PSR staff who perform the majority of our check-outs and patient scheduling tasks. Our office is open 7am-7pm Monday through Thursday, and 7am-5pm on Fridays. Each MA works 4 days a week and will also work one late night per week (usually aligning with what their provider works). Lunches are 30 minutes. We are a Primary Care office, and we only see patients ages 18 and up. We perform on-site phlebotomy as well as perform multiple point-of-care tests (A1c checks, glucose checks, pregnancy tests, urine tests, etc.). Some of our providers also perform minimally invasive procedures (cyst/mole removals, ear lavages, etc.).
Office Culture
Great teamwork and collaboration. Everyone works with minimal supervision to complete their daily work. Friendly, fairly laid-back atmosphere. Everyone is empowered to make decisions on their own or bring up ideas on how to improve/streamline certain processes.
