Job Summary

We are looking for a multifaceted Senior Angular Developer with strong Angular experience as well with experience crafting and developing cultured software systems and applications, to build and implement practical programs. You will work with additional Engineers and Product Managers throughout the software development process.

In this role, you should be a great teammate with a sharp eye for detail and brainstorming skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and most used coding languages.

Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.

Location: McLean, VA. or New York, NY.

*Candidate is required to be in the office 3 days a week*

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Extensive hands on in Web UI development using Angular JavaScript, and backend Node JS and unit testing framework Jasmine and Karma

· Cloud experience – AWS (FARGATE, ECS, EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM, LAMBDA, VPC)

· Good to have java programming and webservice development experience.

· Utilize programming languages like Node.js, Angular. Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

· Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

· Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.

· Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.

· Effective Client communication

· Should be able to work on both Frontend and Backend technologies like AngularJS and NodeJS

Required Qualifications:

Must Have:

· Overall software development experience is 7+

· 6+ years of hands-on AngularJS development experience and 2+ years of working experience with AngularJS 11+

· Experience in writing unit tests using Jasmine and Karma

· 4+ years hands on experience on AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3 and SQS

· Experience in Agile practices.

· Must be analytical, good team player and self-motivated.

Preferred:

· Experience in Financial Domain.

· Hands on experience in Node.js, REST API, 12-factor microservice principles.

· Experience in writing Node JS unit tests using Jest, Mocha

· Hands on experience in Java

· Experience in writing unit tests Junit, Mockito

· Hands on experience in jQuery, Jscript

· Hands on experience/Knowledge in AWS Fargate.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/27/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 – $ 133,900 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
