The Role
Our Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Consulting practice is looking for Business Analyst/s to join our team while we work on an exciting platform modernization engagement. This role is on-site at a client location.
We’re looking for a Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Business Analyst, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. Responsibilities
·Collaborate with cross-functional team and partner with the Product owner/Product management teams to create the project roadmap and backlog of user stories
·Independently research and conduct analysis on functional requirements including data mapping. Perform impact analysis on sub modules and also external systems wherever applicable
·Closely work with Product teams and supportprioritization for future development
·Groom and refine user stories with the help of Product owner and scrum team and document user stories in JIRA
·Support development and testing team with progressive elaboration of specifications and acceptance criteria that are documented in user stories through regular grooming sessions
·Leverage Daily team Stand up meetings for close co-ordination with development and QA team and ensure all impediments around requirements are addressed in timely manner to facilitate Factory Model execution
·Review Test cases and identify gaps in test script for manual and automated testing
·Support team in triaging issues found during testing
·Support Line of Business users for User Acceptance Testing
Qualification
·Business System Analyst/ Business Analyst with min 5+ years’ experience and deep domain expertise in Banking & Financial Services with lending mandatory
·Ability to be on-site or at the client location or cognizant location as needed
·Ability to be on-site or at the client location or cognizant location as needed
Work Authorization
