Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will join our Communications & Media Practice, which serves some of the leading cable providers in the US. You will leverage your extensive experience to lead and deliver large-scale technology programs that enable our clients to transform their business and achieve their strategic goals. You will also manage the client relationship, ensuring high satisfaction and revenue growth, as well as oversee the account financials, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met. You will be a leader and mentor for the engagement team, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback. You will also collaborate with other practice leaders, service lines, and partners to leverage cross-functional capabilities and deliver integrated solutions.

Location – Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery of complex Development, Quality Assurance, and DevOps, Projects for cable clients, ensuring. Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.

• Oversee the execution of project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met.

• Provide technical guidance and support in Kanban, Scrum, and other agile methodologies to optimize project workflows.

• Utilize FFMPEG, RTP/RTCP, and TCP/IP protocols to ensure seamless integration and performance of multimedia applications.

· Manage project tracking and reporting using Jira and Test RAIL, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Conduct performance testing using LoadRunner and Jmeter to identify and resolve bottlenecks for various Video Streaming components.

· •Perform manual testing and oversee automated testing using Appium and Selenium to ensure product quality.

• Extensive knowledge of video systems including Linear IP Streaming Components, QAM VOD/Linear Video streaming, TV Electronic Programmable Guide, Cloud DVR, and various STB applications

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement. - Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance

Qualifications:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with 15 to 19 years of experience to join our team.

• The ideal candidate will have extensive technical skills in Kanban, Scrum, Golang, Python, Java, Shell scripting, FFMPEG, RTP/RTCP, TCP/IP, Jira, Test RAIL, LoadRunner, Jmeter, Manual Testing, Appium, Selenium and Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK).

• Additionally, domain expertise in video engineering applications is mandatory. This hybrid role requires day shift work with no travel required.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
