Role Overview:
Cognizant is expanding its capabilities and looking for expert Principal Prod Consultant. The ideal candidate must estimate relative business benefits and validate with domain and technology consultants. Must identify requirements and roadmap. Assess requirements and provide inputs into creation of solution alternatives. Prepare workshop materials & draft requirements. Discuss and Document conversion induced configuration changes with business Legacy and product owners.
What You'll Do:
- Experienced Tech Lead with 13-16 Years in PolicyCenter Rating and Product Designer.
- Good knowledge on the Product Designer and experience in Sophisticated Product Designer is an added advantage.
- Must have a strong solid understanding of Xmind, including proficiency in using Guidewire markers.
- Must possess solid understanding of APD Conceptualization.
- Must have familiarity with APD Visualization and Finalization phase.
- Experience in development/implementation projects.
- Hands on Cloud Upgrade Projects
- Very good understanding of Guidewire framework, implementation, and components.
- Detailed understanding of Guidewire Insurance Suite.
- Solid understanding in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / PCF / Data Model).
- In depth understanding of PolicyCenter PCF, Underwriting Issues, Forms, and activities.
- Good experience on configuring rate book, rate table and rate routine.
- Implementation of Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting.
- Should have good understanding in Web services (SOAP, RESTful).
- Have knowledge in Guidewire messaging framework.
- Strong knowledge of Batch Processes and Work Queue.
- Good knowledge of Integration Views, GX Model and Templates.
- Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL.
- Good knowledge in Web services, XML, GxModel, Messaging, Batch implementation.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Should be able to perform performs research for very high-complexity items.
- Supports development and delivery of features fixes and releases.
- Guidewire Certified Associate for ClaimCenter is a must and ACE is preferred
- Able to communicate status and details of items to relevant customers.
- Able to perform analysis for proposed changes and/or incidents impacting systems and/or business processes and supports identification of interim procedures if required.

Working arrangements:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. Canada.
