The Role
Our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group is looking for a Manager Consulting to join our journey.
We’re looking for Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Manager, Consulting (which is a Senior Manager level position) this means a client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and serving as a the owner of a workstream; maintaining expertise in your domain; meaningfully contributing to the sales process through a mix of RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery; creating service offerings and/or client partner training materials; and contributing to People Care initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring.In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Responsibilities
·Developing Product management’s vision into use cases, features, and user stories for IT implementation
·Modeling operational process flows by working with stakeholders from Front office trading, and back office operations
·Analyze impacts, provide recommendations, and review options based on roadmap directional changes due to change in priorities
·Assist in developing and managing product roadmap, driving prioritization of features while balancing customer and business impacts
·Collaborate with other analysts, product owners, technology specialists in a multi-vendor environment to work towards issue resolution
·Understand business requirements and perform data analysis and compile data gaps and review with business
·Clearly communicate business priorities to partners in tech, design, and controls
·Leverage data to understand user behavior and assist in product roadmap revision
·Build and maintain strong collaborative relationship with all stakeholders. Location
·Ability to be on-site at the client location in Chicago at least 3 days each week for the duration of the project
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications such as CFA/ FRM preferred, but not mandatory
·Minimum 10 years of business analysis or product owner or product manager experience in Capital markets, securities lending, securities finance, or custody withing banking and financial services industry
·Strong understanding of securities lending processes, data models, and functional flows
·Ability to translate product vision into vertically sliced stories to develop the product iteratively
·Proficient in Agile methodologies
·Ability to dive into the technical details at logical level
·Demonstrated experience problem solving and developing products from scratch
·Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model
·Ability to handle ambiguity and white space
