The Role:
As a Cloud Technical Residency Project Specialist, you will be dedicated and focused on supporting our Cloud Technical Residency Program Cohort Managers, Program Coordinator and internal teams to seamlessly manage and coordinate operational logistics for our instructor led sessions and self-paced learning, manage and maintain session logistics, enrollment and course feedback, documentation, and global program calendar. You will coordinate our instructor’s availability and logistics for delivering global courses to support our Technical Residents.
Along with course logistics and administration, you will be responsible for the support and troubleshooting content change requests, managing best practices documentation and program governance, and updating content for the weekly sessions. You will also work on operational projects aligned to the Technical Enablement team’s operational tasks to align with our long-term learning strategy and goals.
Experience with learning programs, strong project coordination, organizational, and communication skills are a must. You should be extremely proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, work well independently and with others, and with a can-do attitude. You are a self-starter with a strong focus on the details and complexities of learning coordination and thrives in a fast paced environment, leading efforts to consistently improve the programs processes and communications.
In this role, you will develop positive working relationships cross functionally with folks at all organizational levels to ensure that Google Cloud employees are getting the training that they need to be productive. You are dedicated to becoming an expert with the tools you use to leverage them effectively and comfortable with technology. You should feel comfortable with basic Google Workspace tools, dashboards, and presentation slide design.
Responsibilities:
·Support managing the logistics for 4 learning cohorts in 3 different cities, supporting over 80 people. Manage training calendar: schedule events, reserve rooms, obtain & confirm speakers. Manage in-person events when it's safe to meet in-person.
·Work with internal trainers and external training partners.
·Update program documentation with processes & policies.
·Manage and execute surveys of CTRs and rotation teams and other stakeholders. Manage this data in spreadsheets and/or databases.
·Analyze program feedback and data real time to provide insights to Cohort Managers & leadership.
·Keep program data current in various spreadsheets and/or databases.
·Report on program progress and metrics.
Skills/Qualification:
·Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Data Studio, Looker, or other tool.
·Experience with Program Management Tools and experience with Google Workspace tools: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Forms, Google Groups.
·Cross-functional project management, communication, and stakeholder management experience.
·Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Training Project Coordinator or similar role
·Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
·Ability to take direction while working independently and collaboratively on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
·Outstanding attention to detail with time management, multitasking and communications skills to keep key stakeholders and Program Manager coordinated and informed
·Excellent listening and communication (written and verbal) skills to communicate effectively and exemplify DEI. You should be comfortable moderating a small group.
·Exceptional project management, interpersonal and organizations skills and ability to execute and multitask while operating independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and global environment
·Problem solver that is self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
