The Assistant Nurse Manager Pediatric Operating Room will work at a large academic hospital known for their cancer care, speciality surgical department, women’s health, and psychiatric services team. Reporting to the Director Surgical Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager Pediatric Operating Room will be responsible for the Pediatric Surgical Services team, which has 10 designated Pediatric Operating Rooms. As the Assistant Nurse Manager Pediatric Operating Room, you will be responsible for day to day operations of the unit, scheduling, evaluations, and leading a team of 40 FTES.
The Assistant Nurse Manager Pediatric Operating Room must hold their active RN license and should have previous Operating Room experience, ideally in pediatrics, but not required. Ideally the Assistant Nurse Manager Pediatric Operating Room will have previous Preceptor, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Educator experience.
