Clean Harbors is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our safety conscious team! The BDR Manager for Business Development Representatives (BDR) plays a crucial role in driving the growth for Clean Harbors by overseeing the team responsible for managing leads, qualifying prospects, and initiating our sales process.

- Recruit, train, and mentor BDRs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals.
- Call past customers to generate sales/regain lost business.
- Coach BDR on contracts, bids, RFP's, and quotes for customers as required and gain needed approvals for non SRP pricing.
- Work with senior leadership to develop and refine the overall business development strategy.
- Ensure complete and accurate files for the communication (emails, phone calls, and letters) within Salesforce.
- Implement and refine lead generation and qualification processes.
- Regularly review and optimize workflows for efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics tools to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) ie: lead conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and revenue
- Collaborate with outside sales staff (CAM's, AM's, and LOB's)
- Conduct or coordinate ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of BDRs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business/Environmental Science or related field is required
- 5-7+ years of experience in Business Development is required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to make informed decisions.
- Understanding of the sales process and the ability to guide BDRs in effectively qualifying leads.
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to succeed working with multiple groups
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Understand regulatory requirements of customer base
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles faced by the BDR team.
