The Hazardous Waste Disposal Coordinator is the internal point of contact for external disposal service providers across the Company. Known internally as the Outbound Disposal Coordinator. this person is responsible for handling internal requests for placement of wastes to third party disposal sites, managing waste routing throughout the network, and performing all tasks relative to new vendor set up.

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Learn more about the Environmental Services market by working with our approved external disposal service providers
• Serve as an internal point of contact for general information pertaining to third party disposal sites, including waste acceptance criteria and capabilities; profiling requirements; and pricing.
• Help implement operational strategies related to waste routing and disposal
• Participate in the management of the Intercompany & Outbound profile database, creating new profiles as needed.  Educate and train facility operations to ensure correct profiles are being used.
• Responsible for approving and maintaining third party profiles in all relevant systems.  Works with the field and the central departments to coordinate and execute third party disposal approval requests.
• Other projects as assigned.

• 2+ years industry/regulations experience required.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations/laws required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
