Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by complying with both internal and external safety and health protocols. Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Fulfill responsibilities in line with HPC industrials values and principles.
- Oversee daily operations in line with the strategic plans and timelines set by the Senior Branch Manager or Operations Director.
- Lead and manage project-related tasks, including preparing bids and overseeing project execution to guarantee profitability.
- Conduct regular oversight of operational activities to efficiently utilize resources like manpower, skills, equipment, and facilities.
- Offer support, training, and direction to team members, addressing any operational or procedural issues.
- Coordinate staffing schedules in collaboration with senior management; may involve direct fieldwork participation.
- Act as a key communicator between the management team and operational staff to maintain effective communication and resolve any contractual issues.
- Administer operational tasks, including record-keeping, information distribution, and overseeing various assignments.
- Salary Range $75.00 to $85.00 an hour DOE
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
- A high school diploma is required; further education in a technical field or relevant college coursework is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in industrial operations, maintenance, or HPC SMS related fields.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), with a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Adobe.
Work Environment:
- Position primarily based in a onsite at a refinery.
- Involves both indoor and outdoor work in a plant setting.
- Interaction with various team members, supervisory staff, and client representatives.
- Working in areas with high noise levels; adherence to strict safety protocols is mandatory.
- Requires flexibility to work in multiple locations and adapt to various environmental conditions.
- Occasional travel to different sites, possibly out of town, may be required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Physical capability to walk, climb, and navigate field conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey information.
- Good observation skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform routine administrative tasks and travel to off-site meetings or locations as needed.
- Capable of working in a refinery or plant setting, including accessing elevated areas via ladders and staircases.
- Strong multitasking ability, with a focus on effective communication and problem-solving skills.
