The Environmental Hazmat Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of their assignedbranch office located in San Diego, CA.
This includes ensuring the safe, cost effective and efficient day-to-day management of Clean Harbors branch locations. As well as providing direction, growth and ensuring the success of the Product Line, the Company overall and its employees.
Ideally seeking a candidate with Industrial, Environmental or Emergency Response experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Ensure the communication of all required report information is provided to all pertinent departments and customers.
- Ensure employees are operating according to the company’s goals, objectives.
- Experience working with CDL A and/or B Drivers.
- Monitor and reinforce employee compliance and Safety Procedures.
- Conduct periodic field visits to inspect the equipment and working environment.
- Experience management P & L reports.
- Assist sales team with job walks and meetings with potential new customers.
- Direct weekly meetings to ensure effective dissemination of information and tasks to applicable departments and employees
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High School diploma required.
- 5+ years overall management experience required.
- Excellent industry (oil & gas and/or oilfield services) knowledge and experience.
- Experience creating and understanding budgets including analysis and creation.
- Technical knowledge, specific to the product line service offerings.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of various locations and markets where company has operations, as well as the ability to promote the services we provide.
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Superior written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- A team player, with the ability to be a collaborative team member and supportive leader.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
