Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB locationis looking for a InSite Hazardous Waste Specialist to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for working both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and customer sites. This position is also responsible for managing the overall waste program within customer facilities.

- Maintains excellent customer relations;
- Supervises and participates in the safe and cost-effective completion of Hazardous Waste/ Technical Services projects;
- Operates mobile equipment as required;
- Responsible for supervising the site crews on a 10 on 10 off schedule;
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of Clean Harbors InSite Waste Management Program;
- Demonstrate proficiency at a wide variety of assignments and can direct personnel in operational procedures to complete assignments;
- Demonstrate proficiency in classifying of Hazardous Waste;
- Demonstrate proficiency in packaging/containment of Hazardous Waste;
- Organizes crews, delegates job responsibilities, and verifies that the appropriate equipment is available and on-site to complete the project/job;
- Trains and mentors technicians in the safe execution of the applicable work;
- Reports work-related accidents and incidents to supervision in a timely manner;
- Other duties as required;
- Post Secondary Training in chemistry, biology, geology, or other natural science preferred;
- Hazardous Waste Experience;
- Willing to train;
- 5+ Years experience of Hazardous Waste Management;
- Experience in a supervisor capacity is an asset;
- Class 3 License is a Requirement;
- Willing to travel to travel every other week on a 10 on and 10 off schedule;
