Summary:
The Program Manager of Military Pipeline programs oversees the day to day operations related to the design, implementation, and execution of CHRISTUS Health’s career development programs specifically targeted to military service members. Reporting to the Director of Career Development, this individual collaborates with Talent Acquisition and CHRISTUS Health’s leaders to first identify business needs and designs programs to help service members make a successful transition to a civilian career with CHRISTUS Health. Other responsibilities include partnering with leaders hosting a service member on job role design, position rotations, and any potential employee relation experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design career development programs aligned with strategic initiatives of the organization and meeting any required programs criteria
- Develop programs that provide education, experience, exposure, personal growth, and evaluation to service members as they advance in their careers
- Oversee the successful progression of service members through their designated programs
- Coordinate peer resource group meetings to help connect active program participants with program alumni and other collaborative groups
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition partner to successfully place service members in locations where their skills are needed and of best fit
- At the conclusion of a service members program, partner with potential hiring managers to determine if a full-time role is appropriate
- Routinely meet with program participants to ensure their successful completion of the program
- Host educational sessions for CHRISTUS Leaders who may be hosting a program participant.
- Make data-informed decisions related to program design, delivery, and evaluation
- Maintain consistent communication with program stakeholders and sponsors to remain aware of industry changes or other factors impacting program curricula and design
- Ensure the CHRISTUS mission, vision, core values, and cultural attributes are reflected in programs
- Performs other duties that may be required or requested by the Director of Career Development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area required. Master’s degree preferred.

- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, facilitating, or managing adult learning programs
- Prior military experience, DOD Skill Bridge, and/or understanding of military transition to civilian life knowledge (preferred).
- Certifications in learning program design, management, or implementation. (preferred)
