Summary:
Provides support for all gift administration, gift processing, donor information and monthly financials for the CHRISTUS Foundations serving the South Texas region of CHRISTUS Health. The candidate must possess the initiative to handle ever-increasing responsibilities, utilize fine-tuned cognitive skills, and deliver consistently accurate performance. Develops process efficiencies and tests protocols that facilitate improved fundraising gift input, data collection, and data reporting. Provides constant policy review that demands a continuing high level of training to keep up with industry best practices so they can provide better data services and resource responsibilities. Works with foundation management, fundraisers, board members, data/accounting contractors and auditors. Reconciles accounts monthly with the Foundation’s CPA. Must develop a solid understanding of the complex relations between campaigns, funds, and appeals and assist with the development thereof. Coordinates various donor services, works with banks, prepares/coordinates deposits, handles gift processing vendor software, works with payroll, and human resources. Provides an expert level of customer service with a broad range of donors and coordinates smoothly with all foundation teams. This position requires a current Professional Certification for Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT. Windows Office Suite expertise is also required, especially MS Excel. This is a security sensitive position. Other duties as assigned.
The CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital, established in 1959, was the first children’s hospital in South-Central Texas. Located downtown, this 190-plus-bed hospital serves more than 70,000 children annually from San Antonio, South Texas and around the world. The hospital (in partnership with Baylor College of Medicine) is the only academic children’s hospital in San Antonio.
