Summary:
The Program Director of Resource Management is primarily responsible for program development and daily operations related to special labor and staffing programs for CHRISTUS Health. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and an understanding of project requirements and finance fundamentals. This role partners and collaborates with leaders to meet project demands. The Program Director of Resource Management understands staffing requirements and process and freelance labor culture, skill sets, background, and development needs and uses this information to help effectively balance supply and demand. The Program Director of Resource Management understands the travel resource industry dynamics and works closely with Facility, Ministry, and System leaders on the supply, demand, and changing industry dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for system-wide program operations and strategy development for special labor programs
- Management of the program support staff team
- Operational management of staff within the special programs
- Assign resources to program(s) based on their skills, previous experience, availability, or project budget, utilizing resource management tools
- Manage staffing logistics for program(s), ensuring staffing requests are fulfilled in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Initiate subcontractor or external hiring solutions when internal staffing solutions do not exist–responsible for gathering approvals from leadership, validating billable rates, margin and revenue details, and securing contractor agreements
- Manage assignments and extensions of resources based on capacity/demand
- Review capacity across organization on an ongoing basis, proactively working to rebalance professionals who are above/below utilization targets, and ensuring optimal utilization
- Drive staffing recommendations for assigned program(s) to leadership and
- Direct recruitment efforts across all ministries for assigned program(s), utilizing various organic recruitment tactics and tools
- Leads the analysis of workforce metrics for assigned program(s) in order to optimize human resource capacity planning and maximize labor utilization rates
- Develop and maintains quantitative analysis and the creation of predictive models used for enhancing forecasting accuracy and improving workforce decision making.
- Collaborates with senior leaders and evaluates evolving program development needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 5+ years experience in sourcing and/or deploying resources
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized; ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong and persuasive presentation skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
