Summary:
The Audio Visual (AV) Systems Engineer will support complex AV systems from inception through operations across the entire organization. The support includes conference rooms, auditoriums, presentation systems, Video Conferencing (VTC) etc. The position will work closely with the executive team to insure meeting execution when video sessions, international sessions, or large audience sessions as well as the technical team for configurations and support.
Responsibilities:
- Support the installed systems at the corporate office working closely with members of the Executive team in daily use of the video conferencing tools
- Set up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment
- Provide support in developing, implementing and testing patch releases and system firmware upgrades
- Engagement in the design process includes equipment and technology research and coordination with vendors. Assist with final system selection, testing and training
- Work closely with the various technical teams which provide network and conferencing tools to the organizations
- Operate and maintain sound, video and conferencing systems in the corporate office
- Provide equipment and technology research and coordination with vendors.
- Lead selection of equipment and software required for custom integration solutions.
- Provides continuous engineering support from inception through implementation enterprise-wide
- Develop and provide end user training of video conferencing tools and services
- Record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support for teleconferences technologies, webinars and distance-learning classes
- Track inventory of equipment and order supplies
- Travel to assist with AV at remote locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Competence with video conference and broadcasting systems
- Expertise in processing control, routing, and audio video signal flow with broadcast software.
- Understanding AV technologies and IT systems on a technical level
- Awareness of the latest trends, hardware, and features in AV equipment
- Familiarity with graphics, encoding and video editing software
- Interpersonal, delegation, and teamwork skills
- Good working knowledge of Crestron, BIAMP, Extron, MS Teams, Zoom and QSC Systems
- The ability to clearly understand to and respond to needs as communicated by other members of the team
- Basic Project management skills
- Problem solving skills.

- Multi-tasking ability
- Detail oriented
- Able to work flexible work hours, be self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Valid Driver’s License
