Principal Accountabilities
- Execution of automation solutions used for controlling plat process. Will involve design and configuration of control systems and oversight of electrical and instrumentation functions related to projects. Will be required to obtain knowledge of plat processes
- Design and implement control strategies based on current best practice standards and approved components
- Work with fix/support team to identify areas in need of improvement and reliability and provide training for completed projects
- Training and development courses by HR, vendors and outside consultants
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI/ Controls programming languages
- Must be able to update and troubleshoot a range of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies
- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance, planning and scheduling.
- Understanding of production process
- Ability to configure a variety of control programs
