The Registered Nurse cares for patients who require an extended hospital stay. Travel Contract
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100
Inclusive of tax advantage program for those who qualify
- What shift hours? 6:00PM to 6:00AM
- Specialties? RN - LTAC
- How many weeks? 13 weeks
- How many beds in your facility? 43
- How is your facility set up (rehab, LTC, skilled)? Hospital (2 units) Medical Rehabilitation/Chemical Dependency Unit
- What is the nurse to patient ratio and is it different on different shifts? 7
- What is nurse to CNA ratio and do you have an adequate amount of support staff? 2 per shift/yes
- What EMR System do you use? AVATAR
- Do you have any housing recommendations and what is there to do in the area? Plenty of hotels, rentals and AIRBNB. Lots of Restaurants, movie theaters, bowling, golfing, sports bar, etc.
- Can you commit to interviewing a candidate within 48 hours of receiving the profile? Yes
- Any special compliance requirements/who is your compliance contact? Covid vaccination and Covid booster
- What does the orientation look like? Approximately three days

MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE
- Receive admission and / or transfers to the unit
- Initial and on-going systematic patient assessment
- Timely and accurate documentation
- Interpret assessments / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
- Act as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:
- Min 1 year of recent Registered Nurse RN experience
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited institution and active KS RN license Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical and TB/PPD Required
- Verifiable work history and professional references Required
