AmeriPro Roofing an industry leader and National Roofing Contractor is seeking an experienced
Commercial Roofing Estimator to drive our Commercial Roofing business forward. Our projects range in scope from large-scale new construction to complete tear-offs, re-roofing and renovations of existing building exteriors, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major commercial roof systems. The Commercial Roofing Estimator will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates for a variety for commercial roofing projects across a variety of systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to RFPs, preparing bids, and securing new roofing jobs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Conducting onsite roof surveys to estimate preventative maintenance, services, and projects
- Identifying sales opportunities from preventative maintenance, due diligence reports, and service repairs
- Estimate and bid on commercial and industrial roofing projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and manufacturers
- Conduct site surveys and prepare estimates for roofing services
- Collaborate with service and project management teams to transition proposals to active projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, processes, and techniques
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in commercial roofing estimation
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Engineering Technology Preferred or applicable job related experience
- Experience using Xactimate, Procore or applicable CRM software
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of all commercial roofing systems
- (e.g., built-up, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC) and manufacturers to provide well-rounded solutions
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a 28' ladder independently, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks as needed
