AmeriPro Commercial LLC, an industry leading General Roofing Contractor, is now hiring a Field Service Technician to join our Commercial Roofing Division. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, inspections, providing scope of work, and maintenance of all roofing systems.  The Field Service Technician is based out of our corporate headquarters in Downers Grove, IL. However, travel will be required across our mid-west markets such as all Chicago land, Indiana, Cincinnati, and Detroit.   

Job Responsibilities:  

• Conduct inspections of commercial roofs to assess their condition and identify issues.  

• Perform repairs and maintenance on EPDM, Modified bitumen, TPO, PVC, BUR, and Metal roofs. 

• Troubleshoot roof leaks and other roofing-related problems  

• Install new roofing systems and components when required 

• Always adhere to safety standards and procedures 

• Document work performed and communicate findings to management for reporting 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a commercial roofing service technician or contractor  

• Prove expertise in EPDM, Modified Bitumen, TPO, PVC, BUR, and Metal by passing our skills assessment.  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent communication and customer service skills 

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record 

• Physical ability to lift 50lbs up and down a ladder multiple time daily  

• Ability to drive services and projects to the finish line by having self-managed behaviors  
   

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certified installer of any major membrane material provider (Mulehide, Carlisle, Duro-last, JM) 

• Knowledge of local building codes and requirements
