The RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care within an assigned Telemetry Unit. Coordinates care, planning, and implementation with other disciplines, for the adolescent, adult, and older adult (geriatric) patient.

Additionally, SCH-CC operates a 24-hour emergency services center, which serves as a paramedic receiving station and is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and nurse specialists.Provides nursing care to adult to geriatric medical and post-surgical patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Monitors cardiac arrhythmia throughout the unit and provides care to medical patients.
Provide care to behavioral management patients that require monitoring. This unit will care for oncology and orthopedic patients that require telemetry monitoring.|Provide care to post-operative surgical patients (abdominal, orthopedic, gyn).
Provide care to patients with complex medical conditions such as GI bleed, CHF, abdominal pain, stroke, respiratory diseases, diabetes, renal, behavioral, with a diverse age group, and the geriatric population, etc.
Recognize, interpret, and initiate appropriate actions based on arrhythmia monitoring.
