As a Director of Finance, you will support market share growth (e.g., verticals, new partnership opportunities, referral arrangements, etc.) and margin expansion initiatives (e.g., digital transformation, etc.), collaborating across various functions and driving the establishment and maintenance of processes for financial reviews, approvals, and where necessary, subsequent involvement in successful execution of these initiatives.
The role will include you driving financial and strategic decision support to the business to ensure achievement of short-and long-term financial goals. Working with management, you will facilitate the understanding of key business dynamics including productivity analysis, margin improvement, pricing, and business analysis (such as profitability analysis, channel economics, accountability reporting on quality metrics). Driving research and analysis of trends, leading indicators and business statistics, this role will also support operating planning, forecasting and strategic planning through highly complex business analysis. In addition, you will develop business cases and recommend financial strategies to ensure business growth/market presence and margin improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
- Drives providing financial and strategic decision support to senior management to ensure achievement of short and long term financial goals
- Drives research and analysis of trends, leading indicators, and business statistics; displays comprehensive understanding of business model and key drivers
- Executes on strategic initiatives such as M&A support, market entry for new partnerships, and process improvement efforts
- Partners with key stakeholders and business partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution. Constructively communicates compelling arguments based on facts and data, and obtains necessary buy-in to deliver on business objectives
- Builds working relationships with business leaders and other partners in support of key priorities and objectives through complex analytics and insights
- Leverages networks and collaborates with resources across organization to achieve business objectives
- Involved in aligning initiatives responsible for to annual operating plan and strategic plan and performs forecasting to provide visibility into business results to enable business decisions
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You’ll have a BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics OR equivalent
- You have 8+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role
- 3+ years people leadership (direct or indirect)
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business and supporting market share growth, including identifying and recommending opportunities that grow revenue and reduce expenses, driving research, and providing complex analysis to support operating planning, forecasting and strategic planning
- Experience building financial models from scratch
- Experience with leveraging data from FP&A reporting to drive financial results
The following would give additional comfort in the role.
- MBA Finance or MS in Business Analytics or similar degree
- Graduate of Finance Leadership Development Program
- Graduate of Executive MBA Program
- Consulting Experience
