ADP is hiring a Sales Learning Senior Program Manager.
*Please note that this is a hybrid-based role that can work out of any of the following locations: Roseland NJ, Florham Park NJ, Allentown PA, Pittsburgh PA, Norfolk PA, Maitland FL, Nashville TN, or Alpharetta GA.* The person in this role project manages, analyzes, designs, and evaluates sales and sales leadership functional, technical, or skills training. Collaborates with Business Unit Learning Leader (clients) and/or internal Sales Learning teams to handle needs and manage the development of learning solutions. Builds strong relationships and collaborates with client at all levels of the organization to analyze associate performance needs, gaps and causes. Supervises the creation of learning solutions and the efforts of cross-functional project teams. Routinely reports back data/findings and progress to the client to ensure learning interventions continue to support and positively drive towards desired outcomes. Manages developmental tests and pilot sessions to ensure effective learning of the performance-based objectives. Focus on project-managing and influencing teams of individuals who design, develop and deliver high quality training. High level of project management expertise required to manage risk and issues with stakeholders across the Business Unit. Manages multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with business unit leadership to assist in achieving objectives through learning and performance solutions. Responsible for assigned internal client group(s).
- Anticipate business unit needs and recommends learning and other interventions to enhance associate and leader performance, such as process standardization, management feedback and coaching, etc.
- Design learning solutions based upon audience needs and task analysis that include high level design documentation, recommended delivery method, curriculum content, and supporting materials to ensure mastery of learning objectives.
- Drive standardization, and instructional design process improvements
- Establish and analyze metrics to monitor the effectiveness and productivity of the team and communicate status to senior leadership.
- Identify need for training intervention.
- Analyze new or changed user tasks due to new product/program/process releases and upgrades.
- Conduct task/impact analysis using standard department techniques ie. surveys, focus groups, interviews,etc.
- Manage a design team in the analysis of large scope, cross-functional projects.
- Implement new courses, curriculum, and updates to existing materials.
- Conduct development tests to ensure design fulfills needs of learners.
- Communicate design methodology to Learning Services and coach them to properly deploy materials.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training design through the creation of assessments and evaluations that gauge the mastery of learning objectives during and after training.
- Analyze results and make changes to address opportunities.
- Evaluate need for updates to course materials based upon product releases, new functionality, and feedback.
- Recommend prioritization of updates and ensure implementation.
- Evaluate new design tools and applications and determine the best solution.
- Plan and implement rollout
- Evaluate instructional soundness and content validity of courseware designed by less senior team members.
- Coach and mentor team members
- Ensure new associates are effectively on-boarded.
- Assess performance against project and performance/Development objectives and provide feedback to instructional designer and manager.
- Provide input into performance improvement plans by recommending solutions to help close performance gaps.
- May participate in performance appraisal and other performance related discussions.
- Oversee the work of multiple teams of instructional designers.
- Project-manage teams that create high quality learning solutions.
- Assist in coordination of resources (Subject Matter Experts) for large training programs, certifications, and unique Business Unit requirements.
- Analyze results of training programs to identify areas of weakness and create plans for improvement.
- High level of project management across Business Unit and coordination of multiple projects.
- Establish and manage milestone project plans, incorporating milestones from Business Unit and 3rd parties, including DVPs, SVPs, and Sales Leaders.
- Manage issues and risks that need to be resolved at the program level.
- Act as primary interface with the client on issues regarding program level deliverables.
- Ensure that client reviews are held with the client user community and that appropriate sign-offs are obtained from Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 8+ years experience in managing and leading large scale projects.
- 5+ years' experience in managing/leading design and development of courseware/curricula for a blended sales learning environment
- Extensive experience and training in project management, PM certification preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with ADP products/industry a plus.
- Equivalent experience is acceptable; however, individual is expected to actively pursue PM certification or advanced degree during their tenure in this role
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $80,700.00 - $163,800.00 / Year
