POSITION SUMMARY: The VP of Sales Ops for Next Gen Global HCM will serve as a key member of the Next Gen Sales and Operations team working directly with the DVP of Next Gen Sales. This role will require cross functional relationships between product, implementation, service, demo ops, marketing and more. The person in this this position needs to understand and anticipate business needs, and connect them to the initiatives of the Next Gen Global HCM program. Additionally, this role requires people leadership support. A team of sales operations directors and managers report into this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand BU strategy, business challenges, and goals.
- Work with Marketing and Go-To-Market team to create a comprehensive support plan.
- Directly support the DVP of Next Gen Sales and the next gen sales team.
- Triage product questions, capabilities, needs or gaps with sales, prospects, product and operations.
- Partner with a group of cross-functional members from the Worldwide Sales Operations Enablement, Automation, Insights, Learning and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the GES Ops team to share updates on initiatives of the Next Gen program.
- Manage the integration and/or development and delivery of large and complex projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance to specification. Work with Project Manager, as needed.
- Work with sales on roll call inquiries, additional volume and calculate deal values.
- Schedule and create content for all critical sales meetings and presentations both internally and externally
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
- A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job.
Experience:
- 3 to 8 years of progressive sales leadership (aligned to role/grade)
- HCM experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- Experience with strategic selling
- Experience developing strategies, programs and initiatives end to end to support sales goals.
- Strong communication skills excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of ADPs products & solutions.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate, manage and implement large scale projects and relationships with a variety of constituencies and dependencies.
- Proven proficiency in the implementation of related project management strategies.
- Excellent work ethic, motivation and leadership skills. Comfortable leading cross-functional teams, working in changing environment.
- Proficiency in the implementation of related project management strategies is required.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $111,300.00 - $225,800.00 / Year
