Position Summary: This position will provide leadership to the overall operation of team members in the Billing Compliance department. The Billing Compliance Supervisor is responsible for managing tasks to include organizing workflow, ensuring employees understand and complete their duties, monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.

Essential Duties:
- Provide direct leadership to staff within the Billing Compliance departmental teams, driving key metrics.
- Design and implement best practices
- Communicate effectively to the team, branch staff and Support Center departments related to the team’s processes, protocols and goals
- Design and implement staffing strategies to insure multi skilled work force can respond to variations in workflow and meet service level objectives
- Serve as subject matter expert on internal systems and tools as well as all Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems and provide training to others as needed
- Serve as subject matter expert on rules set forth by payers, state, and federal agencies and ensure staff members follow all applicable rules
- Act as Point of Contact to payers for issue resolution.
- Perform root-cause resolution to solve issues
- Work with IT development, when needed, to correct technology issues with imports, billing reconciliation, etc.
- Audit, analyze and trend key data to ensure accuracy and track overall performance. Distribute reports to necessary parties
- Develop, train, coach and discipline employees
- Creates a team where employees are involved, empowered and committed to the success of the company
- Communicate strategy, direction and vision to employees in order to align objectives throughout the organization
- Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed for special projects or needs
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements & Competencies:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the healthcare field
- Excellent leadership skills
- Comprehensive understanding of computer, database and network technologies
- Expert Excel skill level
- Experience in an operational environment preferred
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, documentation, organization, conflict resolution and communication skills (verbal, interpersonal and written)
- Adaptability and stress tolerance
