Position Summary:
The People Development and Experience (PDX) consultant will be responsible for oversight, implementation, and management of talent-related programs and activities that enhance skills, knowledge, and development of Addus Family of Company employees across all levels of the organization. This employee should have experience and expertise in each of the following 4 areas:
- Content Development: Can you create custom content for both virtual and in-person audiences including engaging presentations, self-paced e-Learning courses, interactive videos, participant guides, job aides, and more?
- Facilitation: Can you comfortably teach content and concepts to audiences of all sizes across multiple mediums while leveraging adult learning theories and best practices to maximize learning impact?
- Program Management: Can you organize, implement, and lead talent-related programs such as large-scale company leadership conferences, future leader initiatives, mentoring programs, and more while providing legendary customer service to all employees?
- Consultation: Can you build relationships with internal stakeholders to identify development gaps, recommend learning solutions, and be a holistic, strategic talent partner to drive engagement and development of Addus talent across the organization?
Essential Duties:
- Preferred System Knowledge and Experience: Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, Camtasia
- Participates and contributes to projects, programs, and initiatives that support the development of all Addus employees including leadership programs, learning paths, engagement and performance models, recognition programs, succession planning and other people development efforts.
- Participates and contributes to projects for associated components of the People Experience including recruiting, onboarding, wellbeing, and separation phases.
- Designs and facilitates content for internal programs and coordinate training and other logistical learning and development activities.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) while consulting and advising team leaders on best practices for adoption and implementation of various talent management programs within the company.
- As requested, serve as program/project lead for various corporate initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 3 years of experience working in learning and development and/or organizational development
- 3 years of experience scoping, creating, and implementing learning solution
- 3 years of experience acting in a consultant role and presenting to leadership on people-related programs
- Previous experiencing using various training platforms – LMS, on-line training creation programs, etc
- Desire to serve others
