About This Role

As the IIS Web Engineer, you will manage and maintain our web infrastructure on Internet Information Services (IIS) and enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our web services, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain IIS web servers and application servers
• Implement IIS web servers, including configuration, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IIS, web applications, and related technologies
• Optimize IIS performance, including caching, compression, and content delivery
• Ensure web server security, including SSL/TLS configuration, authentication, and authorization
• Collaborate with development and offshore teams to ensure smooth deployment of web applications
• Implement and enforce best practices for IIS administration and web application deployment
• Perform regular updates, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and security

Who You Are

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills and will be expected to build IIS Web and application servers.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in IIS administration and web engineering
• knowledge of IIS, including configuration, security, and performance optimization
• Understanding of web protocols, HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems and PowerShell scripting

Preferred Skills

• Certification in IIS administration or related field (e.g., MCSA, MCSE)
• Knowledge with the following Enterprise Application Server toolsets: Apache and Tomcat
• Knowledge in .Net application platforms
• Experience configuring and working with monitoring tools (i.e. Solarwinds, Catchpoint, Pingdom)
• Knowledge with working in multi-platform networked, F5 load balanced and clustered environments

$63100 - $79000 per
