Associate Brand Manager – HCP Outpatient (Field Sales Force Effectiveness)

SUMMARY:
This person will be responsible for the development and management of strategies and programs to effectively achieve commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives. Key responsibilities include managing marketing activity for Therapeutic Nutrition Outpatient business including brands like Ensure®, Glucerna® Field Sales Force and new product innovations. Additional responsibilities include quarterly business strategic and tactical planning, monthly reporting, data analysis for program optimizations, agency leadership, vendor management, and budgeting. This person will also be responsible for leading and managing HCP facing Field Sales Force creative materials and selling support resources.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Responsible for managing marketing activity to Therapeutic Nutrition (TN) Outpatient Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in the US. This may include gratis and couponing strategy, creative briefing, and CRM program execution
- Collaborates with design team to execute creative and messaging consistent with Masterbrand strategy, positioning, and brand standards
- Identify product/service changes to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for monthly TN Outpatient reporting and analysis across new and established brands like Ensure, Glucerna. This includes updating monthly performance dashboards to inform Brand, Cross functional, and Leadership teams of results and insights
- Leads monthly call with Brands and select Field Reps, captures, and publishes actions items, and is responsible for consulting with brands to develop agendas
- Monitor, analyze and evaluate product program performance to continuously improve results and share insights with Brand, Cross Functional, and Leadership teams
- Monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecast to adjust throughout the year to maximize performance
- Prepare sales forecast quarterly in partnership with Brand and Cross Functional teams and manage monthly budget
- Manage budget monthly with direct input to forecast models and financial decisions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. These groups may include the HCP Sales team, Sales and Commercial Operations and Analytics, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Public Affairs, Legal, R&D, Sr. Leaders, Global Abbott Partners and external vendors or agencies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 2-5 years of brand management, HCP sales or business analytics experience. Preferred experience in healthcare or food and beverage industry
- 2+ years of demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
- Strong drive and proven track record of consistent strong results
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate obstacles to drive towards solutions and manage against timelines
- Strategic thinking and ability to set vision and strategy while gaining buy in from all levels of leadership
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- An ability to think strategically and develop annual plans and financial commitments
- An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to changing customer and HCP needs
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas; Intellectual curiosity
- The ability to manage and allocate budgets
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with and an understanding of market research and data
- Sales experience a plus

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
