The Opportunity
This Associate Brand Manager works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division.
Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna® and Protality® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.
The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for managing and executing short- and long-term strategies and tactics to effectively support business plan objectives and innovation for the Glucerna brand. Responsibilities include promotional plans, supporting new product launches, project management, and data analytics helping to achieve Brand sales and margin objectives. Developing and managing relationships and communications with internal partners and external customers is key.
What You’ll Work On
Create and execute retail promotional plans including shopper marketing programs, retail media, retail displays, trade funding principles, and consumer coupons (e.g., FSI, Digital Coupons, and Retail Loyalty Card Programs).
Collaborate with internal partners to develop and execute robust go-to-market retail plans for new product launches.
Manage execution of product changes for retail such as new claims, packaging graphics, pack sizes, and e-commerce packs.
Analyze and monitor brand and competitive performance against expectations, and to identify new opportunities and potential risks to the business; evaluate data such as Nielsen retail data to develop holistic understanding on business and market influencers.
Partner with Market Research on studies and/or data that are needed to better understand internal and external business drivers and to make decisions on Brand plans.
Manage the retail budgets to spend to commitments and make adjustments based on in-market tactic evaluation to maximize performance against expectations and business objectives.
Partner with internal stakeholders to help manage demand forecast, monitor supply and report on excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory risk and mitigation plans.
Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing peers, R&D, Finance, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, etc) to ensure successful development and execution of marketing plans
Required Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Analytics, and/or related field.
2+ years of marketing experience in consumer packaged goods and/or healthcare/OTC products industry.
Strong analytical skills, including business, budget, and financial analysis, with the skills to develop recommendations and to tell a story using data.
Demonstrated leadership ability including proven success in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously including new product launches.
Strong communication and presentation capabilities with the ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently articulate strategies to a diverse audience of peers, senior leadership, and external partners.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
Advanced level PC skills to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred due to the business complexity and strategic focus of the position.
Experience working with retail customers and sales organizations.
Experience with business performance analysis and reporting, specifically leveraging Nielsen retail data.
Knowledge of retail channels including Food, Drug, Mass and eCommerce.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
